License Amendment/Transfer
Amend/Transfer a License
To Amend or Transfer a Liquor License, the license should be eligible for On-line Amendment / Transfer.
Once an Amendment or Renewal is initiated, a new Amendment can not be started until the current Amendment/Renewal has been finished by New Jersey.
On the Main Menu you can see a list of your current Licenses and which can be amended:
If there are more than 10 Licenses associated to your account, click on "Show all. " to see more.
In order to initiate an Amendment/Transfer, click on the button.
Select the Type of Amendment / Transfer and wait for the page to re-load. A description of the type will be shown.
In order to cancel the Amendment / Transfer, click the button.
To continue to the next section of the Amendment / Transfer, click the button.
Click the button anytime to save a draft version of the Amendment and return to it at a later time.
Depending on the Amendment / Transfer Type, you may need to answer one or more questions in order to continue. Depending on the answer you give, you may have to supply additional information.

Payment and Submission
For more information on how to pay fees and submit the application for processing see the Payment page.
If there are no fees, acknowledge the disclaimer and press the Submit Amendment button.
After the Application has been submitted a confirmation page will be shown.
The processing of the License Amendment / Transfer will now be done by the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. You will receive notification when the Amendment / Transfer has been completed.
Submitted applications are listed under MY LICENSE APPLICATIONS UNDER REVIEW on the License Menu .
