Indian Coast Guard Exam Pattern 2024
The Coast Guard Navik exam pattern includes objective-type questions or multiple-choice questions. The exam will be of 12 standard difficulty. Candidates can check out the weightage of the different sections of the exam:
ICG Section 1 Exam Pattern 2024
The ICG section 1 will have a total of 60 questions, each carrying a total of 1 mark. The questions will be MCQ-type questions. The passing mark for the general category is 30 and for the reserved category, it is 27. The duration of the exam is 45 minutes.

ICG Section 2 Exam Pattern 2024
The ICG section 2 will have a total of 50 questions, each carrying a total of 1 mark. The questions will be MCQ-type questions. The passing mark for the general category is 20 and for the reserved category, it is 17. The duration of the exam is 30 minutes.

ICG Physical Fitness Test
Candidates must pass the physical fitness test to get qualified. The test will take place for 2 days. The included exercises are mentioned below:
- 1.6 Km run in under 7 minutes
- 20 Squats
- 10 Push-ups
ICG Medical Exam
A set of standards are set up by the authorities for candidates to ensure they are fit enough to serve. Candidates have to pass these standards before they are recruited.
- Minimum height and weight must be met by the candidates.
- Candidates must have a chest expansion of 5 cm.
- Visual acuity of 6/6 (without glasses) in both eyes is necessary.
- Candidates must not have any respiratory disease and have a clear chest x-ray.
- The gastrointestinal system of the candidate must have a normal physical examination.
- The aspirant must be mentally fit.
